Which TikTok link should you paste?
Use a plain username such as tiktok, a handle such as @tiktok, or a profile URL such as https://www.tiktok.com/@tiktok. All three identify an account. Check the returned handle and avatar, then browse its videos.
If your link contains /video/ or starts with vm.tiktok.com orvt.tiktok.com, open it on TikTok first. Go to the creator's profile and copy that address. This tool searches an account's recent posts; it does not fetch a single video directly from a share link.
Look for Open MP4 to save on the video you want. If the card says Direct media unavailable, use its original TikTok link to view the post. A preview image alone does not mean a downloadable video file is available.
Use Load more videos when it appears to browse more results. Up to three additional pages are available, and the number of posts can vary. Older uploads may fall outside this window; the tool does not create a complete account archive or a ZIP download.
How to find and save a video in four steps
1. Enter the public profile
Type a username, @username or complete profile URL. Short video links and private credentials are not accepted in this profile-first workflow.
2. Confirm the unique handle
Compare the returned avatar, display name and @username. The handle is the safer identity check because unrelated accounts can copy a display name.
3. Review the public post
Use the preview, caption and original post link to select the intended clip. Public counts are changing snapshots and are not required for the media action.
4. Open MP4 to save
Select Open MP4 to save on the chosen card. If the file opens in a player, use the browser’s save or download control. See the device tips below.
Save on a phone or computer
The file may open in a new tab before you can save it. Available controls depend on your browser and the returned media.
iPhone or iPad
If the MP4 opens in Safari, look in the Share menu for Save to Files. If a save option is offered, choose a folder and check Files afterward. A playing video has not necessarily been saved to Photos.
Android
Look for a download action in the player or browser menu after opening the MP4. If the download completes, check the Downloads folder in your file manager. The label and location vary by browser.
Windows or Mac
Use the player's download control when available, or right-click the video and look for Save video as. Choose a folder, then open the saved file to confirm you downloaded the video.

Downloading is a technical action, not a content license
A browser-based downloader can make an available media file easier to open, but it cannot grant rights owned by a creator, music licensor or other rights holder. A public post is not automatically public-domain material. Personal reference, newsroom research, classroom use, commercial reuse and republication can have different legal requirements.
Keep provenance. Save the original post URL, @username and retrieval date with the file.
Ask before republishing. Obtain creator or rights-holder permission when your planned use requires it.
Do not remove attribution. TTViewer does not promise or perform watermark removal.
Respect removal. If a creator deletes or restricts a post, do not use TTViewer to claim continued public availability.
Why a video will not download
Refresh an expired media link
If a previously working file stops opening, return to the search and look up the username again. If the same link is still returned, wait a few minutes and retry. Keep the original TikTok post URL as your reference because direct file links can expire.
Expect regional differences
A media link that responds in one region can be restricted elsewhere. The dated test above proves only its sampled request. TTViewer does not route around regional controls or promise universal availability.
Use the source fallback
If a card says Direct media unavailable, open the original TikTok post. The post may still play on TikTok even when the public-data response does not expose a separate MP4 link.
Understand the recent window
The returned list follows the order provided for recent public posts. It does not promise oldest-first sorting, every historical upload or a permanent record of removed material.
What an earlier public-account test returned
On August 28, 2026, TTViewer queried the public @tiktok account through the production Posts path. The check recorded transport facts without publishing reusable signed URLs.

Can I paste one TikTok video URL into this page?+
No. Enter a username or profile URL. If you have a video URL or short share link, open it on TikTok, visit the creator’s profile and copy that profile address. Then find the video among the returned posts; older videos may not appear.
Does this TikTok video downloader remove watermarks?+
No watermark-removal promise is made. TTViewer opens the media URL returned for a public post and does not alter, re-encode or inspect every file for branding. The appearance of a saved file can vary by post, region and upstream response.
Why does Open MP4 to save sometimes disappear?+
The button appears only when a media URL is returned for that post. A missing link shows Direct media unavailable. An existing button may still lead to an expired or blocked file; in that case, try a fresh lookup or open the original TikTok post.
Can the downloader access private or deleted videos?+
No. It only uses data returned for public accounts and public posts. It cannot bypass private profiles, recover deleted media, unlock restricted posts or use your TikTok session to obtain additional access.
Can I download every video from an account at once?+
No. You choose and save individual available files. Load more videos can fetch up to three additional pages when more results are available, but it does not retrieve every upload or create a ZIP file.
How do I save a public MP4 on mobile?+
Open the available MP4 link, then use the controls offered by your browser or operating system. Some devices open the file in a media player first, and some regions may block the file. TTViewer cannot force identical save behavior on every browser.
Why does the MP4 play instead of downloading?+
Your browser may open a video player when you select the media link. Look for its download action, a Save video as option on a computer, or Save to Files in the share menu on iPhone when offered. Check your downloads or Files afterward. Playing a video alone does not save a local copy.
Does a download button give me permission to repost?+
No. A technical ability to open or save public media does not transfer copyright or grant a publication license. Keep the creator and source attached to your research, obtain permission where required and follow TikTok’s terms and applicable law.
